For most wedding couples, hiring a band for their big day is the first time they have booked live musicians or DJs. So naturally, there are a few questions that are often asked! Here are a few of the most freqeuently asked questions from clients who have hired a 90s band for their wedding or other event:
How long will the 90s cover band perform for?
Most wedding 90s bands perform 2 x 45 or 2 x 60 minute live sets. This is usually the maximum amount of performance time from any UK band.
What happens in between or after the live sets?
The band will provide a laptop DJ service – or you could hire a separate DJ to cover these parts of the night. If you wanted to put together your own playlist full of 90s bangers, you could always give this to the band to set up when they are not performing.
Will the band supply all of their own equipment?
Yes. All the 90s bands on FixTheMusic will come with their own PA system, some lighting and instruments as standard. All you need to provide is access to a safe source of power for the band to plug their equipment into.
Can I request specific songs for the band to play?
Most bands are happy to learn one or two songs that aren't currently in their set list. This is normally for the first dance if you're booking the 90s band for your wedding. Otherwise, you can always highlight particular favourites from the band's set list.
