“These guys were just fab as entertainment for our wedding day. When you have a mix of young, old and young at heart, it’s so hard to please everyone, but please everyone they did. With their infectious beats, comedic interludes and toe-tapping tunes, Ben and co brought energy, fun and laughter to the dance floor. The dress code for guests was an optional touch of purple in memory of my mum, and I was really touched that they turned up in purple ties too. What lovely guys! We had a great time boogieing into the early hours as we added on a funky disco too.

I avoid the dance floor when I’m with the Mrs unless I can swing my shirt I have no moves and generally, this causes an argument, otherwise, I would have been the frontman there!”

“5 stars are not enough! A very fun band of excellent quality with a brilliant repertoire. But, the most important thing they bring is an intensely personalised attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble in the planning. Every effort was made to understand the event and what was important to us as the clients. There was zero sense of bashing out a standardised set list. In fact, new music was even learned to make this event as special as possible. Timings were immaculate and The Roaming Folks went out of their way to work with the other staff at the event. Not to mention, it was intensely hot and they did not wilt, or even hint at any difficulties. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“Ben and his band provided a hell of a surprise party for my mum’s 60th! Their ability to integrate with our extended friends and family, both in terms of the ‘surprise’ moment, the food and the speeches was superb, and really meant we were able to make it personal to mum. She hasn’t stopped beaming since, and commented that having a ceilidh meant that we could enjoy the dance on our own terms, and also chat to reunited friends and family with some excellent background music.
