Our sax players have performed at popular Surrey venues, including The House at Beaverbrook, Great Fosters, Pennyhill Park, Langshott Manor, Hand & Spear and Hurtwood Hotel.
Many of our Surrey saxophonists frequently perform at local luxury clubs and bars.
They all have vast experience performing at weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, charity events, and other more unusual events, such as baby showers and hen and stag dos.
If you're booking your saxophonist to play at a bar or club (e.g. for your 30th birthday party), you should probably check with the venue manager first, as sometimes they need to approve of your hire of a musician for your event. In our experience, it's usually always possible, but best to check first!

“OMG, two words absolutely awesome! I can't thank them enough for making my birthday so memorable. It was definitely the best party we have ever thrown and that was largely down to these guys. From the initial conversations with the DJ right through to the actual day, I knew they were going to be perfect for the evert. Nothing was too much trouble, they turned up promptly and you could see they were so happy doing what they love! Even though we left them to do what they do best and feel the vibe in the tent, the DJ never left her decks all night and made sure the party vibe never dipped, constantly checking in with me, to see if i was happy or wanted to change anything. Many have, for example, studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, The Royal College of Music, Trinity Laban, Guildhall School of Music and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

The saxophone is a highly versatile instrument that adds an uplifting and often sensuous tone to jazz music, pop covers and modern house tunes alike.
Saxophonists can be amplified wirelessly and perform with a backing track or a live DJ. Amplification is sometimes not required for smaller venues, or if there are fewer guests.
They are able to roam amongst your guests to really provide an interactive spectacle. This is perfect for evening entertainment and wedding receptions.
Another popular genre is live lounge style chillout sets, often for afternoon events and cocktail receptions. The saxophonist will usually perform with backing tracks (pop, easy-listening, jazz...) for this type of event.
Some of our saxophonists are also highly accomplished DJs and combine the two skills by pre-mixing songs and improvising on sax.
Wedding saxophonists can perform outdoors but cover from the elements is required...sunlight can damage the instrument, as well as any type of precipitation.
Saxophonists on FixTheMusic have PAT-certified equipment, meaning that their equipment, such as a PA system, is safe to be used at public venues.
