“The short answer is - hire them!! The Sonics were the most amazing band and we couldn’t have imagined anything better for our wedding! They played an amazing set for our apertivo which created an exciting atmosphere as soon as our guests walked in. They were punctual and ready to play from the moment the first guests stepped foot inside our venue, and the repertoire of music was incredible. For the afterparty they made a serious party! The five piece band were spectacular, playing classic hits, rock, contemporary and everything in between. They had our dance floor full from start to finish. Our guests spoke about them long after our wedding day had finished, with high praise for their ability to balance different genres as well as the lead singers amazing voice. As a primarily Irish wedding with some Canadians mixed in, the feedback was unanimous in The Sonics being the best band they had heard at a wedding.
