Can we have ceilidh dancing and pop covers at the same wedding?
Yes, and this is one of the most common requests from couples in the Scottish Borders. Several bands on our platform, including Circassian Ceilidh Band and Ceilidh Storm, specialise in exactly this format: a ceilidh set with a caller to get everyone dancing, followed by pop and rock covers to finish the night. Can bands perform outside?
Yes, but outdoor performances depend on weather conditions (not always reliable in the Borders!). Bands need shelter to protect their instruments and equipment from rain or direct sun. Make sure your venue can accommodate this if you're planning an outdoor event.

One of the highlights of the day by far… Half our wedding party were from Australia and Tasmania so needed a lot of guidance on the dancing and Robbie really got us all into a groove, guiding them along the way! Robbie was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, great communication, planning and preparation and gave us extra special treatment on our day. They played a lovely, more subdued acoustic set upstairs while we had our desserts and cut the cake, and then they rocked the castle like it was under siege.
