Sussex stretches from the Brighton seafront to the chalk hills of the South Downs, and our wedding DJs have played at venues right across the county.
From beachside receptions in Bognor Regis to country house weddings at Pelham House in Lewes, FixTheMusic connects you with DJs who know the local venue circuit.

Lewes and the South Downs
Pelham House in Lewes is our most-booked Sussex venue, with five confirmed DJ bookings through FixTheMusic. DJ George Jonathan has played there four times, and DJ On Drums has also performed at the venue. The Jolly Sportsman in East Chiltington has hosted both PYT and Powerhouse Duo.
Further into the South Downs, DJs have performed at Brookfield Barn near Horsham, South Lodge in Lower Beeding, Hindleap House in Forest Row, and Somersbury Barn near Cranleigh.
Brighton and the coast
The Grand Brighton on the seafront has hosted Glow Stix, while Hotel du Vin in the Lanes has seen multiple DJ bookings. Couples have also booked DJs for beach weddings at Bognor Regis, and for receptions at Tillingham near Rye and The George in Rye.
West Sussex estates and barns
Cowdray House in Midhurst has hosted DJ George Jonathan, while Fusion Girls have played at Farbridge and Southend Barns near Chichester. Grittenham Barn near Petworth, Upwaltham Barns on the A285, and Fontwell Park near Arundel have also seen confirmed bookings.
Every DJ on FixTheMusic carries public liability insurance and uses PAT-tested equipment, standard requirements at Sussex venues like Pelham House and Cowdray House.

Yes. Our DJs have performed at beach weddings at Bognor Regis and at seafront venues in Brighton and Hove. If your venue is outdoors or near the coast, let us know in your enquiry so we can match you with DJs who have the right equipment and experience for that setting.
Yes. Our DJs have confirmed bookings across both halves of the county, from Rye and Lewes in the east to Midhurst, Petworth and Chichester in the west. Many are London-based and travel to Sussex regularly, particularly for weddings in the South Downs and along the coast.
Requests vary widely, but 80s sets are popular, with couples at Hotel du Vin in Brighton specifically asking for that era. Other common requests include 2000s throwback tunes, house and dance classics, and brass band or live percussion alongside the DJ. Several Sussex couples have also asked for festival-style setups with multiple live musicians building energy through the evening.

“George was fantastic, all of our guests commented on how brilliant he was and a really nice guy to deal with. Would highly highly recommend to anybody looking for a DJ for their wedding.”
“We are so so pleased we booked Fusion Girls for our wedding. They we amazing, the dance floor was never empty as then continued to play the best tunes. So many of our friends have messaged us since to say how great they were. Would 100% book them again for another event!”
“George did an excellent job from start to finish for our wedding in June. He really understood what we were looking for, and also added some flair of his own which was very welcome. The dance floor was busy all night and I have had many comments from guests noting how much they enjoyed the music. Would highly recommend!”
“DJ Kal DJ’d our wedding and did an incredible job. We had a set from 19:30 to 02:30, and he nailed it the whole time. We can’t recommend him enough!”
“I cannot recommend DJ Clap highly enough. He consulted with us every step of the way to make sure we got the party we wanted. And we got the exact party we wanted – and then some! He played all our favourite tunes but knew how to read the room so everyone else got what they wanted, whether they knew they wanted it or not! I haven't danced like that in years, it was just wonderful. We had to turn off the speakers at 11pm but DJ Clap recommended a silent disco; it was a triumph! DJ Clap handed out headsets to our guests while they were still dancing, and soon everyone was bopping away with headsets on. It made for some wonderfully bonkers video footage, too. With DJ Clap, you don’t just get a brilliant DJ, you get a brilliant party. He is full of infections energy and ideas and we didn’t want the party to end. Thank you – we had a ball! P.S. The sound guy at the venue said he has never seen a dancefloor so full for so long. You did that mate, and I am eternally grateful.”
“Powerhouse Duo are brilliant! All our wedding guests were totally blown away by their talent and we all had such a good time. Thank you! Highly recommend!”
“Morning ladies, Rory and I wanted to send you a huge huge thank you for your incredible performance on Saturday night and for making our wedding night so incredibly special - the party was absolutely hopping thanks to both your live set and your amazing DJ during and after. Thank you so much! Lots of love, Lucy and Rory.”
