Saxophonists can be amplified wirelessly and perform with a backing track or a live DJ. Amplification is sometimes not required for smaller venues, or if there are fewer guests.
They are able to roam amongst your guests to really provide an interactive spectacle. This is perfect for evening entertainment and wedding receptions.
Another popular genre is live lounge style chillout sets, often for afternoon events and cocktail receptions. The saxophonist will usually perform with backing tracks (pop, easy-listening, jazz...) for this type of event.
Some of our saxophonists are also highly accomplished DJs and combine the two skills by pre-mixing songs and improvising on sax.
Wedding saxophonists can perform outdoors but cover from the elements is required...sunlight can damage the instrument, as well as any type of precipitation.
