“We just enjoyed a wonderful 50th party in a forest setting, where Ceilidh Twist played beautifully & professionally for our celebration. Having live music of this sort in a woodland worked really well and the guests were charmed by the musicians and the (very good looking) caller who kept everyone motivated and moving! The band even sorted out a spare mic so our daughter and her friend could sing a duet, and the sound system they provided played our playlist of dance music for the last bit of the night. Lots of laughs and a magical evening all in all, the guests loved the ceilidh dancing, thank you so much.”

“We hired The London Ceilidh band for an anniversary party that we wanted to ensure maximum participation. The communication from the first engagement was excellent which gave us real comfort that our needs were understood. On the night the band were great musically (although I'm no expert) ensuring some great up beat tunes to ensure everybody joined in. The calling was clear and well targeted ensuring novices could enjoy the dances. I would definitely recommend the band if you are looking for an evening of fun.”

We instantly got a good feeling from them during our pre event catch up as we felt they listened to our personal preferences and tailored their set to be exactly what we wanted, including agreeing to learn a new song to play for our first dance. “Ramnee Ceilidh Band recently played at my 50th birthday party and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the initial booking Tom was so professional and always so patient and helpful with my endless questions. Any correspondence was answered very quickly. On the day of the party Tom arrived at the venue with lots of time to spare. I had chosen a four piece, guitar, fiddle, drums and accordion, the entire band were simply excellent and they looked so good with their traditional kilts. As the caller, Tom explained all the dancing techniques in a way that was easy to follow which was excellent as there were a lot of people who weren’t familiar with the dances. I would definitely book the Ramnee Ceilidh & Covers Band again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a highly skilled, professional band for their Ceilidh.”
