How early should we book a wedding band in Cambridge?

Do we need to provide the band with a hot meal?

Yes. Most bands will be on-site for several hours, often arriving before dinner and staying until midnight. A hot meal and soft drinks are standard, and most venues offer supplier meals or access to the evening buffet for performers.

What will the band wear?

Most bands dress smartly (shirts, blazers or coordinated outfits). If you have a specific dress code or theme, let them know in advance. Some are happy to tailor their look to match your event’s style.

Will parking be required for the band?

Yes. Bands usually travel in cars or vans with equipment, so having 1–2 nearby parking spaces reserved is appreciated. Can the band perform outside?
