“Absolutely fabulous. Look no further than this band. So friendly, fun and got the whole place dancing!!”
“Acoustic Royale were absolutely incredible. I cannot sing their praises enough. In the run up to the wedding their communication was fantastic, completely put us at ease and really understood what we wanted from our wedding day. The atmosphere they created was amazing and all our guests said how good they were. The mashup on songs was so much fun and kept everyone on their toes. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone. I think the photos show how much fun was had.”
“What a talented bunch! The Barrow Boys were everything we had hoped for from a wedding band and more. Not only were they incredibly polished and sounded excellent, but they also had a brilliant energy that kept the dance floor packed all night. For anyone considering them for your wedding/event, just do it! You won’t be disappointed! ”
“The Bristol Wedding Band were the highlight of our night! Everyone is still commenting on how good they were. We just need to come up with a good enough excuse to have them back again!”
“From the moment we booked Velvet Shadows we felt at ease because the communication was fantastic. We had to choose 32 songs from the vast catalogue which is more difficult than you think but the 32 songs selected were performed excellently. All our guests have commented to us "what a fantastic band " and "boy they can play well". We wouldn't hesitate to book them again. Fantastic night, thanks guys and all the best for the future.”
“We wanted to say thanks so much for the great show the band put on for our wedding. We had an absolute blast and had so many compliments from guests. You guys really topped the night for us!”
“We loved having Acoustic Royale perform at our wedding drinks reception. As we drove up the drive after the ceremony we could hear them playing and it set the tone perfectly. They played a great selection of songs and was the perfect backdrop to Prosecco drinking. We’ve had so many guests say how much they enjoyed the duo during the drinks reception.”
“You guys made our wedding into the most awesome party we have ever been to, and our guests haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had. An amazing, note-perfect group of musicians who completely exceeded our expectations of a wedding band!! Thank you so much to all four of you for making our wedding such an amazing and unforgettable night!!!!”
“We booked Brooklyn Funk for our wedding for a good funky evening, rather than a cheesy wedding band. They were very professional to deal with beforehand, turned up on time and delivered a great set! Highly recommend.”
“Mashup Kings played at our wedding and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! To give you a sense of our wedding, we’re in our early 30s .. we had tipis at a campsite.. and loads of people there were really into music. We therefore spent ages looking for a band which would get all generations on the dance floor, who wouldn’t be cheesy and who would play a variety of styles of music. And we definitely made the right choice. Everyone danced all night long and had the best time ever! What we loved most about them (which made them unique) is their incredible mash ups… from a garage mash up to Stevie Wonder to pop and rock… just such a mix of amazing tunes and having them as mash ups means you get to hear about 3 times as many amazing tunes as normal! The band were all so lovely and super high energy. Benji was also extremely helpful in the run up and set up, as we borrowed some of his gear for the music after the band and during a song my husband did during the speeches. Thank you so much for everything Benji and the rest of the Mashup Kings crew!”
“Dear Steve and Amy, Firstly, a massive congratulations on your new arrival! I hope you are still operating on adrenalin through those initial broken nights. Nothing can really prepare you for that....Apologies that I have not been in touch before now. You must think that the evening was a disaster! I have simply been very pushed for time - still clearing things away from the wedding and some long, hard days working in London, and only just getting to emails now. You are the very first! As you know, I had been so excited about securing Soul Central for Izi and Simon's wedding, replaying their demo tapes to my family and listening to them endlessly when I was working, all along imagining what the evening would sound like. A few days before the wedding, I suddenly began to worry that I had talked them up so much, and had so much anticipation that they could only disappoint. On top of that, the venue was not an easy set up for them because, like a military operation, we had to dismantle the dinner tables in a short space of time to make room for them to bring in their equipment. By the time they arrived, I was quite stressed. We are all agreed that not only did they live up to our original expectations, they truly surpassed them! I did not think that was possible! Such a wonderful mix of musicians with Eric and Shea fronting a fabulous line up. They kept the energy level high throughout the night and their soul and Motown vibe had everyone - of all ages - on the dance floor. One of the touching moments early on was when one of the Flower Girls (aged 3) asked for a special request - Humpty Dumpty - and the band immediately broke into a musical version of the nursery rhyme! It was so unexpected and kind of them, and she went to bed a very happy little girl. So many people asked who they were and commented on how much they enjoyed them, and I would happily recommend them to anyone for their special occasion (I believe you may get another booking from the evening). They are completely reliable and professional, they sound - and look - incredible and they are lovely people too. A band that offers everything! I would book them again, in a heartbeat. Thank you for organising everything with Soul Central so we could enjoy the wedding day to the full. We loved every minute! I hope that you and your new baby are well and thriving. With very best wishes, Karen.”
“Guys - you were AWESOME!! The acoustic, full band and DJ sets were all incredible - especially the special songs we requested for the ceremony which were absolutely beautiful. You had everyone on the dance floor, old and young!! Jumping, singing and dancing!! You really made our night - it was like our own mini gig - we can not thank you enough. We've been reminiscing about the tunes you played - particularly the 90's mashup... We'll be coming to visit you on tour for sure!! Thank you x”

Mid-range 4-5 piece covers bands like The Cardinals (£1,780) and Mashup Kings (£1,800-£7,250) are the most popular choice. At the premium end, ROAMEO at £6,675 and Aptitude at £10,195 are booked for weddings at Kin House and Castle Combe.
Couples in Wiltshire typically enquire around 10 months before their wedding date — one of the longest lead times we see for any county. July and August are the busiest months, so for a Saturday in peak season we'd suggest enquiring at least a year ahead. Kin House in particular gets booked up well in advance, with 63 enquiries since 2017.
Kin House in Kington Langley, Chippenham is our most-enquired Wiltshire venue by some margin, with 63 enquiries since 2017. Some Wiltshire venues, particularly country pubs and barn venues, may have sound limiters. One couple at a Wiltshire country pub confirmed their band would perform in a marquee approximately 20m x 5m, with the front open to the lawn. Bands performing outdoors always require a covered stage area with power. At Syrencot House, one couple noted that amplified music is not permitted outside, so they booked an unamplified roaming band for their outdoor drinks reception. Check with your venue about any sound restrictions before booking.
