The Scottish Soul Collective — soul, funk & Motown
Fusion Girls — DJ, sax & drums
Circassian Ceilidh Band — ceilidh with covers
Hup — folk-pop with ceilidh
The Glasgow Ceilidh Band — ceilidh

There isn’t a fixed price for hiring a band in Glasgow, as costs depend on a few key factors. The size of the band, how long you want them to perform and how far they need to travel all play a role.
For example, a smaller lineup with a shorter set will usually be at the lower end, while larger bands or extended performances will increase the overall price. Popular bands with busy calendars may also charge more, particularly for peak summer dates.
Most quotes include sound equipment, lighting and a set performance time, so you can compare options on a like-for-like basis.
Our wedding bands have performed at venues across the city, from The Engine Works and Òran Mór to Boclair House Hotel, Crossbasket Castle and Cottiers. Our most popular bands are regularly booked over a year in advance for peak summer dates.
Glasgow has one of the deepest pools of locally-based wedding bands anywhere in Scotland.

They were professional, incredibly tight and so much fun with some truly creative twists on recognisable party tunes - we especially enjoyed Get Busy, Let’s Dance and Toxic! So many of our guests have commented on how much they loved Banjo Embargo and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something a bit different (which we definitely were). They are brilliant musicians and very pleasant to deal with in the build up to the big day. Huge thanks to Barney, Pat and the rest of the band for making our night so special. :-).”
