How far in advance should we book a London wedding band?
The median lead time for London bookings on our platform is around 5 months. For a Saturday in peak season (May to September), we recommend enquiring at least 8 months ahead. London's most popular bands are often booked 12+ months in advance.

Most London-based bands include travel within the city in their quote. Bands travelling from outside London (Sheffield, Manchester, Brighton) may add travel costs, but this is usually included for bookings within the M25.
Can bands perform at venues with sound limiters?
Many central London venues, particularly heritage buildings and venues in residential areas, have sound limiters installed. Most bands on FixTheMusic are experienced at adapting their setup, including using electronic drum kits. Always mention any noise restrictions in your enquiry so bands can plan accordingly. “We absolutely loved having Throwing Shapes play at our wedding - they were the best! We knew from the beginning that we wanted a sax and DJ combo and were thrilled to find them. Murphy was fab to work with beforehand and took note of the songs we didn't want played, as well as curating a playlist based on all our favourite songs, and was also very flexible with curating a more ambient playlist of background music for our cocktail hour beforehand. The energy they brought to the dancefloor was amazing, in particular with Alex roaming around on the sax, and it was constantly packed.
