What do we need to provide for the band?
Most bands bring their own sound and lighting equipment. Some even bring DJ setups for after their live sets. Just check with your venue — whether it's Silchester Farm, Trunkwell House or a marquee in the Berkshire countryside — to make sure there’s enough space and power available.
Can we ask for specific songs?
Yes, and it’s encouraged. Every band has their own playlist but will often add a couple of songs to personalise your night. If you want something more custom, give them some notice so they have time to rehearse.
Do we need to provide food or drinks?
While it’s not required, it’s a nice gesture, especially if the band is with you for most of the day.
Can bands perform outdoors?
Yes, outdoor weddings are no problem for most bands. Just make sure there’s cover in case of bad weather and that they have access to power. If you’re hosting your wedding at an outdoor venue like Lillibrooke Manor or a private estate, chat with your band about setup options.
Can we see the band perform before booking?
Some bands perform at public events, local bars or festivals in the area. While most of their gigs are private weddings, they often have videos and past performance clips you can watch on their profile.

The Old School 90s Band were simply brilliant. They recently played at our wedding and were the best band a couple could ask for.
