Our Wedding DJs Have Vast Experience Performing Throughout Europe

At FixTheMusic, we work with only the best professional wedding DJs. Many are based in the UK, home to some of Europe's best DJ talent, and are frequently requested to travel to Italy to DJ at weddings there.

What Styles Do Our DJs Perform?

The DJs on FixTheMusic are happy to play any variety of music and tailor their sets to your tastes. Frequent styles requested for weddings in Italy include pop, rock, electro-swing, hip-hop, house, soul, garage, party classics, techno and R&B.

Our DJs are often booked alongside saxophonists. The Ibiza-style sax and DJ combination has become increasingly popular in recent years and FixTheMusic can provide both musicians for your event.

As well as regular DJs, FixTheMusic can also supply silent disco equipment for weddings and events. Silent discos are becoming increasingly popular – especially at events in urban areas or locations with noise restrictions: perfect for continuing the party into the small hours without disturbing the neighbours!

How Much Does It Cost to Book a DJ for My Wedding in Italy?

The average price of a DJ for a wedding in Italy is 850 EUR. This price includes their expenses (accommodation, travel and equipment).

If you can provide the DJ with accommodation at your venue, the DJs can usually lower the cost.

We can also provide English DJs for weddings in Italy (see below).

Why people love FixTheMusic
Where in Italy Can the DJs Perform?

Our DJs are available for hire throughout Italy and Europe. They are frequently booked to DJ for weddings along the Amalfi Coast, Florence, Tuscany, Puglia, Lake Como, Lake Garda, Rome, Sorrento and Venice.

So if you're looking for the best wedding DJ Italy can offer, get in touch and you'll receive offers within a few hours.

And if you're looking for an act for your wedding or party that provides both DJ & sax, Italy has a range of amazing musicians who are perfect for this. Although most are based in Tuscany, there are also DJ & sax groups in Rome and Puglia too.

Can I Book an English DJ for My Wedding in Italy?

Yes! FixTheMusic specialises in providing English DJs for weddings in Italy.

Although we have a selection of the best DJs in Italy, we also work with some of the UK's finest DJs who are highly experienced at playing at international destination weddings across Europe and throughout Italy.

Our English DJs have entertained at weddings in Tuscany, around Lake Como, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Puglia, Sicily and other areas in Italy.

Why hire an English DJ?

The main advantage of hiring an English DJ is that they will speak the same language as many of your wedding guests. This allows them to engage and interact much more, as well as take requests from wedding guests on the night.

Our DJs are also experienced at playing the most current and up-to-date music, as well as classic international hits. For some luxury weddings, clients sometimes find that a local Italian DJ might not be quite "cool" enough, compared to a UK DJ that has good knowledge of 90s, garage, hip hop and RnB tracks, as well as the wedding classics.

How much does it cost to hire an English DJ for a wedding in Italy?

The cost will vary depending on things like travel and equipment hire expenses, but on average the total cost will be between £1,000 - £2,000.

Some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Hiring a Live DJ & Sax Group for Your Wedding or Event...
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where does the DJ & live saxophone trend come from?

Adding a sax player and drums to perform alongside a DJ was first pioneered by UK record label, Hedkandi. They found great success with their residencies in Ibiza fusing a distinctive mix of chill-out and dance tracks over Balearic beats. The sensation quickly spread from Ibiza and the UK, across Europe, the Middle East and South America. It’s now used as inspiration for Ibiza-style parties, weddings and clubs across the world with hosts deciding to hire additional musicians to improvise with their DJ.

What are the most popular options for DJ Sax groups?

The most common line-up is the saxophonist and DJ. Popular additions include percussion (especially bongos, congas and other types of drum), an electric violin and a singer or guitarist. Some musicians use a light-up sax or LED drums and bongos to provide an extra visual impact.

How does the performance work for DJ & Sax groups?

DJs usually provide music for between 4 to 5 hours at an event. During that time, the live musicians will play together in short bursts – usually 15 or 30 minutes per set. The sax is usually amplified using a wireless mic, allowing them to roam amongst guests. This interaction breaks down the usual divide between DJ and audience. The types of music the DJ sax acts play range from 70s and 80s classics, through to house and dance hits, as well as disco, R&B and hip hop tracks.

What sort of events do DJ & Sax groups perform at?

Our DJ, sax and percussionists are frequently booked as an entertainment package for weddings in the UK. Other locations they have travelled to include Ibiza, Mallorca, Tuscany, Prague and the south of France. Cafe del Mar-themed corporate events and festivals are also a common request for a DJ with live musicians.

How much do DJ & Sax bands cost?

Prices usually start at around 1,650 EUR / 1,500 GBP and increase depending on how many musicians you choose to add to the group. Factors like travel and the amount of time also impact the cost of hiring the musicians. Some of our most popular groups may charge a bit more to reflect how in-demand they are...these performers will be at the top of their game with several years of experience.

Is the equipment for DJ & Sax groups PAT tested?

Musicians on FixTheMusic have PAT tested equipment, so this includes PA systems, and leads, lighting and the DJ console. Musicians on FixTheMusic also have public liability insurance which means the booker or the venue would not be liable for any losses if equipment is damaged, or the band's equipment causes damage to the venue in any way.

Can DJ & Sax perform a day-time chillout set?

Yes, and most groups will offer this at a reduced rate if you book the evening party set(s). The style for this is usually chillout, lo-fi house, classic and modern pop covers, soul and even some jazz. This style is really appropriate for a laid back pool party, a drinks reception, garden parties, and similar more relaxed events.

Can I choose the covers/songs for the sets of a Sax & DJ duo?

By all means, you should let them know if you have any favourite songs and conversely, and songs that you definitely don't want to hear! However, groups like DJ & Sax are experts in "working" a crowd and pushing the right buttons as and when required, so it's usually best to let them have free rein over most of the music choices. Musicians will also feel more comfortable performing their tried and tested repertoire.
What Makes the Combination of a DJ and Saxophone So Special

The saxophone is the ideal accompaniment to most styles of music performed by our DJs, from Motown, funk, soul, jazz and disco, right through to classic and current house.

A roaming saxophonist performing alongside a DJ creates a huge amount of energy drawing your guests onto the dance floor and recreating the good vibes of an Ibiza party.

Our DJs and sax players are all consummate professionals who have been performing for several years on the UK and international club scene.

Our DJs have top-of-the-range sound and light equipment to give you the best possible experience.

All of our saxophonists have studied at the top music conservatoires in either the UK or Europe. They are able to improvise and freestyle alongside our DJs moving seamlessly from genre to genre.

Saxophonists generally perform 2 or 3 sets of roughly 45 minutes per set. Our DJs can offer more than 3 sets if required, keeping the party going well into the early hours!
