On the day, they performed as a five-piece band, and the energy, musicianship and vocals were simply fantastic! Beyond the music, they were impeccably organised, warm, flexible and a genuine pleasure to work with. Their repertoire is incredibly varied, they keep the music flowing seamlessly throughout the day, happily accommodate guest requests wherever possible, and even took care of the announcements for us, which was hugely appreciated. Most importantly, they created an atmosphere that had everyone smiling, dancing and talking about the celebration long after it had finished. A truly first-class team, and one I would recommend without hesitation for any high-end wedding or event.”

“Where to start… The Manhattans were absolutely incredible from start to finish, if you are in two minds about who to use for your wedding, this is your sign to go with these lads. From the first planning meeting with Sam, we were so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. This continued throughout the lead up to the wedding, with how proactive and responsive Sam was. Nothing was too much trouble and the band even learnt a song at the Emma’s request (and completely nailed it!). On the day, the band arrived and set up with the minimum of fuss and were ready to go in good time. When they did take the stage, they blew us and our guests away. There were a mix of songs we’d requested from their set list and a few others they threw in too. The vibe was perfect and they kept the dancefloor packed over two sets. Plenty of our guests have said they’re the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding and we agree. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. This was followed up with a DJ set to close the night out, which was again fantastic and kept everyone on the dancefloor til last orders. One of the things we wanted most for the day was great music and a big old party and The Manhattans brought that for us. Thank you so much, you were brilliant! Rick & Emma”

“Thom & the band were absolutely phenomenal at our wedding in June. The playlist, the vibes, everything was electric. They also provided an acoustic duo for our wedding breakfast as well as perform a song outside of their set list for our first dance. We are still getting texts and feedback about their set. The communication from start to finish was fantastic and Thom really made us feel at ease. The dance floor was jam packed all night. Cannot recommend them enough, everyone will be talking about them for years to come.”

“Velvet Shadows were absolutely brilliant. Communication was great from the start and throughout. The song list was perfect for our taste in music and for getting a party going and the band were super helpful with things like using their mics for speeches. We gave them a unique song to learn for our first dance and they absolutely smashed it. We're gutted we didn't record the whole thing as they did such a good job with it. Would highly recommend this band for a wedding!”
