“Jules performed at our wedding welcome party in September. His entire set was absolutely wonderful, he has such a fantastic voice and all of our guests were delighted with him. His rendition of Shallows and Angels were absolutely perfect for our sunset cocktail party in the Dordogne Valley, his voice matched the scenery and complimented the vibe of the evening perfectly. Jules even finished his set with an acoustic section, where our guests gathered around and sang along with him. It was absolutely beautiful and genuinely one of my favourite moments of our entire wedding weekend. The process of booking, communication and choosing the songs we’d like for our set and how we’d like the music to work with our evening was seamless. “The Sabres were absolutely terrific at our wedding, on all fronts. Damien, Stéphan and Hervé are the real deal. We had them to do both the band and DJ parts, and we are incredibly glad we chose them. The quality of their playing in person is super, super high. Many of our guests commented "Where did we find these guys?!" and with good reason - their musicianship was top class. We absolutely lost it when they did Uprising by Muse. They really know how to work a crowd. They struck a great balance between playing songs that we had asked for, and those that were in their repertoire. I can imagine that if you left it up to them, they'd do a fine job in constructing a set list that really flows. When they were taking a break, they set the DJ equipment to play songs we had requested, so there was no break on the dancefloor - which has happened at other weddings we have been to. They kept the energy alive throughout! They were really easy to work with. We were running late by 45 minutes, but they did not mind at all. It was low-fuss, low-stress working with them. Their equipment is top notch. We were having trouble with our speech audio, but Damien came to the rescue with the band's equipment - and it was like night and day. Really recommend using their microphone to do the speeches at dinner. In sum - choosing The Sabres is an utter no-brainer - it will elevate the wedding for all of your guests and turn it into an absolutely banging party.”
“We had The Beat Chiefs perform on our wedding day during our cocktail hour and wedding breakfast and they got the vibe spot on for both. We had a 4 piece (including sax). Acoustic sets for the cocktail hours and then as we requested they picked it up a bit during the wedding breakfast and everyone was up dancing before dinner had even ended which set the tone for the evening party. They were such a pleasure and so easy to work with in the planning process. They honestly couldn’t have made it any easier. Had lots of guest comment on how great they were. Would highly recommend them!!”
