Bands travelling from the UK or Europe to perform at weddings in Dubai will need to charge for flights and travel expenses. Based on the wedding enquiries we've received for Dubai and the UAE, couples typically budget between $1,500 and $3,000 for live music, with a median of around $1,500. Smaller acts such as acoustic duos, saxophonists with DJ and string ensembles sit at the lower end of this range, while larger showbands travelling from the UK cost more as flights, accommodation and equipment hire are factored in.
Acts based in Dubai can offer lower quotes as travel costs are minimal. ROAMEO, who list Dubai as one of their regular performance locations, offer a Dubai-based lineup from 16,000 AED for a 4-piece up to 28,000 AED for a 7-piece, with a DJ add-on available from 6,500 AED.
If your venue has a PA system and lighting rig, bands travelling from overseas may be able to offer a cheaper quote as they won't need to transport their own equipment. Many luxury hotels in Dubai have professional sound systems installed, and some event planners handle flights, accommodation and transfers as part of their package.
The peak wedding season in Dubai runs from October to April, with December and November our busiest months for enquiries. If your wedding falls during this period, we'd recommend enquiring as early as possible.

All of our musicians are happy to perform at events throughout the United Arab Emirates, including in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah, Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah and Umm al-Qaiwain.
Most of our bands fly in from the UK or Europe, typically arriving a day before the wedding to set up and soundcheck. Several acts on FixTheMusic are also based in Dubai itself, including showbands, DJs and saxophonists, which can significantly reduce travel costs.
